Scrapbook Steals Pearl #2

For the second sketch in the Pearl series, I just loved the giant banner pennant and flags!
I used these fun papers from Basic Grey with cute cupcakes!

Scrapbook Steals Pearl #1

Scrapbook Steals has started a new MidWeek Mojo jewel series, this one being Pearl.
The first sketch in the series is simple and fun:
I used papers from My Mind's Eye 6X6 pads for this layout of Hannah's curtain call practice for spring recital.

Color Me Happy

This layout was for Paper Secrets July OLW challenge. The word for the July was "color" so I used it in my title.

Authentique July Sketch Challenge

Authentique (http://blog.authentiquepaper.com) is another of my favorites for their beautiful paper collections and their fun challenges! This month's sketch challenge could use three photos...
...but I chose to use some cutouts from their Fresh line to fill two of the spots and then cropped some photos of Hannah in her beach babe post at Seaside.
This layout features the following papers from Authentique's "Fresh" line of papers:
"free" 12X12 paper
"details" 12X12 sticker sheet

Scrapbook Steals Turquoise #9

Week nine's sketch featured a large bracket shape for framing the layout.
I flipped the sketch and used waves in place of the zig zag design.

Scrapbook Steals Turquoise #8

Week eight of Scrapbook Steals MidWeek Mojo Turquoise series featured yet another banner. Banners are hot!
I used some Fancy Pants paper and cut a bracket die cut sheet in half for the bottom portion.

Scrapbook Steals Turquoise #7

Scrapbook Steals MidWeek Mojo sketch for week seven of the Turquoise series featured more banners which I love!
I used some more of Crate Paper's vintage looking collection for a photo from our Mt Rainier trip.

Scrapbook Steals Turquoise #6

For week six of the turquoise challenges on Scrapbook Steals MidWeek Mojo, the layout was a two pager.
I was able to fit multiple pictures of Hannah's dance recital with this sketch.

The first sketch in the turquoise series of Scrapbook Steals MidWeek Mojo layout challenges included a sketch with six photos!
I used my Cricut to cut out a scalloped circle and used paper from Crate Paper to make this layout of the family summer vacation to a cabin at Mt. Rainier.

Scrapbook Steals Turquoise #2

I'm catching up on Scrapbook Steals Turquoise challenges with this sketch from week number 2:
Here's my layout featuring papers from Authentique's Journey line and pictures from the Puyallup Spring Fair and the Walk on Water ride.

Basic Grey Card Sketch

Basic Grey is hosting a card sketch challenge on their blog. The sketch features little flags which I love to create with paper scraps and toothpicks.

Sketch N Scrap #10

I have so many pictures already from summer and I love a layout that uses multiple photos. This week's challenge by Sketch-N-Scrap http://sketchnscrap.blogspot.com/2012/07/sketch-n-scrap-10.html featured a one page sketch with four photos.
I trimmed down photos to fit the smaller size. I used papers from Authentique's Journey line with bold turquoise hues for these beach photos we took at Seaside.

Authentique June Challenge

Authentique is one of my favorite new paper companies with the nicely weighted paper with a nice texture. The coordinating embellishments are versatile and the color combos fresh and new. They are hosting a sketch challenge for the month of June at http://blog.authentiquepaper.com/2012/06/june-sketch-challenge.html. The sketch had a pop of color which I interpreted with a pink flower on my layout.

From their Journey collection I used:
"Jaunt" Two Sided Paper
"Promenade" Two Sided Paper
"Tabloids" Two Sided Elements
"Headlines" Two Sided Elements
"Icons" Two Sided Elements
"Noteables" Two Sided Elements
"Excerpts" Two Sided Elements

Other items I used included a large pink flower, black buttons, and twine.
